|Yes you did help us survive and we want to thank you for that! To tell the truth I had a bit of a sick feeling the day we had to shut shop along with so many others. Not knowing what was ahead but knowing I had a full shop and boxes of stock ready to arrive for the new season!
Honestly the biggest encouragement you gave me was buying online & many of you bought vouchers to spend once we were open. It really kept me going and made me realise you were thinking of us. I enjoyed doing personal deliveries out on the coast and it was a good excuse to get out of the house which by then had been cleaned to within an inch of it's life.
Now we are back open and humming. We, like you, are buying local & NZ made as much as possible. Lovely new things in store include Fruney chocolate for that small thoughtful gift (who doesn't like chocolate right), Grandpa slippers for your little one (sheepy lining to keep them cosy), Standard Issue merino knitwear (they are honestly hard to take off as they keep you so warm) Stella & Gemma boots & sneakers absolutely one of our favourite labels. Our baby range is growing all the time as we seek out the best labels out there. Our winter clothing sale has started with Elk Knitwear & clothing, From Knitwear & Briarwood clothing.
It's lovely having some many new or expectant Mum's in store, looking for gifts for their friends or for their little ones. Our new baby racks make it easy for you to see just what we have to offer you. We have a gift with purchase on at the moment, a free Burrow & Be bib with every purchase over $50. of Burrow & Be. (while stocks last)
Miss Floosie news
The lockdown bought our family home from all around the world. Victoria from London (she made a gorgeous model in the backyard during lockdown) and Andy & Jade from Malaysia, this of course was a bonus for us having everyone around. It was a full house with Freddy being born living next door, so in our bubble. Luke & Katelyn & Freddy have finally moved into their first home in Manly (our old Bach was shifted from Pataua South) It's been fun seeing them give it new life, fixing it up and creating their home. I have been busy on the sewing machine making, privacy screens, curtains & covering squabs. It takes me back to when we were first home owners and had to do everything our selves, there is so much joy in making something out of so little.
Floosie is looking fabulous with Katelyn (my daughter-in-law) styling our windows using her experience from Anthropologie in London!
Heidi always does a great job with our mannequins as our in house fashionista & Kim has a new addition to her family with little Leo arriving safely.
Floosie is a happy place to be, we especially appreciate you popping in when the weather is ghastly out there! You make my heart flutter with your kindness! (Well that might be a bit much but you get the idea) See you soon in store!
